Valuclusian geology and fauna, is interested in almost the entire world of science, especially paleontology and malacology.<\/p>\n<p>The Museum owes its development to the naturalist Esprit Requien (1758-1851), who is the most renowned of the Avignon scientists. Coming from an old family of the bourgeoisie, he devoted himself very early to botany.
